Our path towards an upgrade in our building is proving very rough and uneven!

Limekilns Parish Church are delighted to confirm the start of the project to repair/restore our church building.

Latest news - September 26th 2017

The contractors are now 3 weeks into the 30 week programme and all is progressing well.

  • † The new entrance has been cut through and supporte by a steel beam. You can now see from the street right through to the pulpit.
  • † The opening for the toilets has been cut and supported.
  • † all flooring and timber joists are out ant the base prepared for the concrete flooring and new heating system.
  • † The contractor expects to be pouring concrete some time next week (w/c 2nd October)

Please see the photo below of our Caithness stone slabs. They would make a wonderful feature in someone's garden or as a hearth in front of a fire. There are about 20 such slabs available for purchase. If you are interested please give Charlie a phone on 872210.
